Special event as part of
„Lange Nacht der Zürcher Museen“
Decolonizing Switzerland
Saturday, September 5, 2015, from 7 p.m.
Switzerland had no own colonies, but its history and present is shaped along the influence of colonial traces. The Rote Fabrik as former silk weaving workshop is part of this story. During the „Lange Nacht der Zürcher Museen“ all guests are invited to share a dinner together at the Shedhalle. Throughout the evening many short lectures and discussions on aspects of Swiss colonial history take place.
