Thursday, November 20, 2014, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
The encounter aims to offer a space of translocal exchange on issues of memory and decolonization. The project group "Refugee Memory“ will give some insight into its current activities, and invites discussion participants from the perspective of their work in different contexts to share their perspectives on the following questions: When art institutions and museums deal with history, which elements are reinforced, which histories are established and which are deleted? And what does it mean to intervene in this construction of the past?
