Start of a mediation program

Shedhalle is not an Island

We are currently developing our mediation program.
This autumn we will have radio workshops, art workshops for school groups, and exhibition talks.

Radio workshop series “Festlandradio” on Radio LoRa, 97.5 MHz

Switzerland is not an Island. Or is it? A school class made up of young people from various neighborhoods in Zurich along with another group will present their interests in and perspectives on the themes from the exhibition.

25 January 2014, 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Exhibition talks “VIP tours”

This autumn we are choosing our own audience: We are inviting clubs, organizations, and groups that are close to the Shedhalle either geographically or conceptually to participate in exhibition talks. “What does that have to do with us?” is the question at the forefront in a tour of the exhibition, particularly with a focus on the Shedhalle institution and its mediation program.

Art-critique workshops for school groups

We will spend the day critically contemplating the themes of the exhibition “Switzerland is not an island,” and together with artists and activists, work with anti-racist visual art and performance.
