Discussion
Art, politics and memory
Thursday, May 28, 7 p.m.
The collective memory is part of our identity. But who decides what is remembered? What is forgotten and why?
At this discussion the working group Flüchtlingsgedächtnis of Shedhalle Vermittlung (Un)learning Community wants to open a space where the role of politics and art in the construction of collective memory can be discussed. We also want to focus how Switzerland has been dealing with the consequences of past and present asylum policy and practice so far.
Panel discussion with Laura Huonker, theater maker, AL member of the Zurich cantonal parliament and Josef Lang, historian and vice-president Green Party Switzerland.
An event by Shedhalle Vermittlung (Un-)learning Community.
